Mimato ist ein kleines Studio in Berlin, in dem handgefertigte Keramik entsteht.

Hinter Mimato stecke ich, Meike – Designerin, Illustratorin und Keramikerin. In meinem Atelier entstehen Stücke, die intuitiv geformt, bemalt und glasiert werden – langsam, in kleinen Serien oder als Einzelstücke.

Ich arbeite ohne Gussformen, frei aus der Hand. Jedes Objekt trägt Spuren dieses Prozesses – kleine Unregelmäßigkeiten, die gewollt sind und jedes Stück einzigartig machen.

Mimato is a small studio based in Berlin, where handmade ceramics take shape.

Behind Mimato is me, Meike – designer, illustrator, and ceramicist. In my studio, I create pieces that are shaped, painted, and glazed intuitively – slowly, in small batches or as one-of-a-kind objects.

I work without molds, freely by hand. Each piece carries the traces of this process – subtle irregularities that are intentional and make every object unique.
